Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago.Isaiah 25:1
Sunday Morning Worship
We meet on Sundays at 10am for Holy Communion. Whether you live in Orkney or are a visitor to the islands, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our service.
Our worship follows the 1982 Scottish Liturgy.
We meet for Evening Prayer at 8pm on Zoom every Sunday. These services are led by members and friends of the congregation and generally last for about 20 minutes.
On Tuesdays from 6.30-7.30pm we meet on Zoom to explore our faith and learn from each other.
Over the next few months we’ll be using A Christian Guide to Environmental Issues as the basis for our studies.
Coffee & Chat
We have an informal Zoom get-together on Thursdays from 5-5.30pm. This is an opportunity for us to chat and catch up on each other’s news.
We meet for coffee and a chat at 10.30am in the St Magnus Café on Broad St every Wednesday.
On the 4th Thursday of the month, we meet at the Kirkwall Hotel from 8pm.
We occasionally have additional meetings and events and you can find out about these – and more about our regular meetings – here. Even if you don’t usually worship at St Olaf’s, you are very welcome to join us for any of these – just email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
